- MHMatthew HarperDec 17, 20251.0Last Friday I went into the branch to deposit a very large check, I gave the teller my debit card, ID like with any deposit but the money never came into my account because the deposited it into someone else’s account. After spending about an hour and a half on the phone with customer service this morning they were able to resolve the problem. At this point I asked to speak to the branch manager who was apologetic but kept cutting me off when I wanted to give my side of the story…. They ended up depositing the money into my account but then shorted me 900 dollars from the original amount…. So I had to start the process ALL over again and when customer service connected me to the branch manager again they questioned ME and had to go back and look at their notes when they realized that they deposited the wrong amount into my account. Both branch managers there Tina and Sam were rude, and not willing to give me an explanation nor did they do anything to rectify the issue. I was with Wells Fargo for YEARS and never had any issues of them losing my money and if there were any issues their customer service was great. If you are looking for a friendly and secure place to put your money I do not recommend this financial institution. We will promptly be closing all of our accounts and moving our money elsewhere.

It’s so frustrating and demeaning when you already don’t have a lot of funds and get charged for not having money on top of that. They absolutely need to change this.
