I had a account with them for years, and due to their own error, they transferred my money into a wrong account, took no accountability, and had the audacity to charge me outlandish fees in the process. I filed a complaint with Federal banking regulations, closed accounts and a few months later said banking institution was all over the news nationally for fraudulent banking practices.

If you want a bank where you will have to constantly fight with them and file claims just to make sure they aren’t just actively stealing from you (something Wells Fargo is known to do) then this is the bank for you! When you call the bank on the phone, they won’t take you seriously until you bring up the multiple cases and articles of Wells Fargos shady business practices. But don’t worry! If you go in in person you’ll get a rude Russian lady who either has no idea how to do her job, or will just straight up lie to your face about charges and make up bogus reasons why they are there, when someone on the phone has already clarified what they are! The overall manager at the location seems nice enough, but it doesn’t make up for the overall mess
