- DMDragon MasterApr 21, 20252.0Bellco Credit Union is a not for profit credit union. Recently I've been getting extremely disgusted with the service there. I've been using Bellco Credit Union for years, but am seriously thinking about leaving and banking with someone else who can meet my financial needs. I've had two car loans and paid both off, (on time on one & early on the second) but now they won't finance me on another car. Last year I made a home purchase but again Bellco Credit Union wouldn't finance it. I used to get free money orders and cashier checks, but now Bellco Credit Union is charging $5 per money orders and cashier checks. I was told they have to charge now due to the inflation. This makes me question about this being a not for profit company. Especially when they profited off the interest on my account, two car loans , and now change for what was a free service for money orders and cashier checks. Furthermore I asked about getting some checks for my "FREE CHECKING ACCOUNT" and was told I would be charged for it 🤬 seriously?? I had to finance my home thru another bank, they won't help me consolidate high interest credit cards, won't finance a car, charge me for a free checking , charge $5 for money orders and cashier checks that I can get elsewhere for ¢.99 I don't recommend banking with Bellco Credit Union and would tell anyone to NOT use them for any financial services.
