My husband called to ask if they had a notary public and if we needed to have an account with key bank in order to utilize the services of said notary. The person on the phone said they did have one in the building and that we didn't need an account. My husband asked again to be sure and clarified that we would have to bring the whole family so we didn't want to go somewhere unless we knew they could help us. The person told us to come in. So, we drag our 2 young, special needs children with us because we both have to sign the document and we have nobody who could watch them. We get there and are told we cannot be served because we don't have an account. I'm not sure which employee answered the phone but, they need to relearn the policies. I didn't like key bank before but now, I definitely cannot stand them. Learn the policies of the company you work for, or find someone who does, before you lie to someone on the phone. We're not opening an account just so we can have something notarized which was the suggestion when we arrived. That's not how you run a business. 😡
