- EOEmmaly OwensJan 13, 20231.0Went in to resolve an issue with the interest rate on my account that occurred as the result of a prior mistake made by a Bellco phone representative I spoke with earlier in the week. The banker I interacted with could not have cared less that I was now going to be erroneously charged thousands of dollars in interest due to Bellco’s error. Instead of escalating the issue to someone who could help, she essentially told me this was my problem to deal with (isn’t that why I was at the bank talking with her?) and that I should have somehow known information they failed to disclose over the phone. Well, of course she was wrong—Bellco failing to disclose information that allows them to profit off unknowing consumers is fraud. I ended up being able to escalate this to corporate via their customer service phone line (after 90 minutes on hold!) and the Bellco rep agreed that I was wronged. A gentle reminder to branch employees that good customer service goes a long way, and that I don’t have to bank with you, or pay you a dime of interest I don’t owe. It would behoove Bellco to train employees to provide service that resolves issues and retains customers, rather than defaulting to blaming customers for Bellco’s errors. I won’t be returning to this branch and likely will be leaving Bellco as a customer altogether. There are too many better options of companies with whom to bank.

- PWPhilip WeberOct 10, 20161.0People that work at this branch are nice with a couple exceptions. My biggest problem is there is no personal touch. I can not even call the branch. The Credit Union does not allow it and forces its customers to talk to a machine that routs route and reroute and you get nowhere. 1 call ... 3 minutes tops and I would have been happy. I have decided to move my business accounts for this reason not sure if I will continue to use personal or not.
