I will never use this company again. The communication is beyond unprofessional. Trying to solve one issue with them has turned into months of headaches. Please do yourself a favor and use a different company Edit- I reached out to customer service, can't even get a reply from them.... unbelievable

If I was able to give no star I would. Waited for a debit card for almost 3 weeks. Tried calling customer service long wait times. Cannot speak to anyone. Finally spoke to a representatives/manager just to be told no debit card ordered! How can that be to open an account and no card sent??? Will be cancelling my account very soon.

We have been loyal Bellco members for many years and have had no complaints but in the last few months have lost total confidence in their ability to find, fix and communicate effectively when an issue of debit card fraud was happening. While out of state, I noticed charges to my checking account from a local Holiday Inn showing up. I immediately called the customer service number, was put on hold for well over 10 minutes but finally did talk to a person who assured me the dispute would be processed and a stop on my card would happen and I would be sent a new card. This continued to happen over a period of 3 days, additional charges, additional phone calls, additional lengthy hold times, etc. On the 3rd day I was informed that the card had actually NOT been stopped and that it would be taken care of. The total charges were now up to almost $2000! The credits back to my account started to show up the next week (which I was told much later when I got home and went into a branch, are only "provisional" during the dispute. None of the 3 phone customer service agents had told me that very important piece of information but I was feeling better that things were being handled appropriately and would be fine. Fast forward to 2 weeks later and 2 more charges to that same Holiday Inn showed up ($500)!! I called the branch and was told that someone had "mistakenly" credited 2 of the original charges twice so they had to take them back out! I explained that the transaction description should have noted that, otherwise how was I to know?? Almost $500 just disappearing from my account at the end of the month could have serious credit consequences if other payments were to bounce! The most upsetting part is the lack of communication, no phone calls, no emails, nothing! They depend on letters which come well after the fact and do nothing to address immediate needs. At the branch, I said I wanted to issue a formal complaint and was asked to send an email with all of the details, calls, times, dates, specifics, etc., and that it would be "passed on". I decided I did not want that "job" and a review would be more powerful and immediate. We have lost total confidence in Bellco Credit Union and will be moving our money elsewhere. Warning...things seem fine, until they aren't!
