  I came in for an appointment early at 3:20pm and I really had to use the bathroom. One of the workers told me that they don’t have public restrooms. I found this upsetting. I told them I had an appointment and they still told me I couldn’t use their bathroom. My appointment was at 4pm. I got here early because I got out of work early. They told me to go to the Burger King across the street. This was so rude of them to not let me use the bathroom. What do they do when the guests need to use the restroom and it’s an emergency? Have them drive to Burger King. This was ridiculous.

  Current Wells Fargo customer, long time career banker (from a name of other Financial Institutions) and also a notary as well. My boyfriend and I went into our neighborhood Wells Fargo with a pretty standard ask for a few standard notaries and sat with their only available banker on the afternoon of the 7th - Sorry, Mercedes. We let her know we would need two witnesses as I was unable to sign any of the documents as a beneficiary. She first tells us the Tellers “do not have authority to witness notaries”. Is this just a Wells Fargo policy? Notarizing as a teller was where I first learned to be a notary. Also, Wells - way to boost professional growth in your employees by saying “they’re just tellers”. The banker told us in addition to this she’d have to check with her manager to see if she could act as our second witness. She came back out in less than two minutes claiming her manager would not notarize our documents due to not being abie to confirm competency. Yes, as a notary, you are encouraged to use your best judgement and never be coerced into saying “yes”, but surely as a notary you also know that telling someone “no” without even looking at the papers to be signed is highly discriminatory. We are both in our 30’s, fully competent, and will not be returning to this location for future needs. And quick shout out to the branch manager: Telling a client no and not having your team member’s back to communicate that to client while you hide in your office - not a good look. Kindly, From one Banker to Another P.P.S. We drove to another Wells Fargo and they completed the notary.
