- MTmichael tennisJul 15, 20251.0The tellers and bankers are just doing there job I get that. But I was told when depositing a cashiers check that it would clear next day. Then all of a sudden it would take a minimum of 7-10 business days and possibly longer if Wells Fargo decides. What’s the point of a cashiers check the requires certified funds to get when Wells Fargo has to do an investigation to see if the funds are available. So that was somewhat understandable but when I asked the issuer of the check to cancel it and do a wire transfer I was told they couldn’t because Wells Fargo already has the funds that they are supposedly verifying. So now Wells Fargo legally can hold my money with out my consent to do what ever they please. It’s a great money laundering scheme. I even asked for half of the check they said no. Then I asked for 25% all the way down to 1 % of the check and the bank manager still said no. Then I asked for a 0% interest loan so I could pay my bills till the check cleared and was told no way. I was even rudely asked what’s the urgency and why do I even need this money. So look at the scam. It’s ok for them to hold my money as long as they want Interest free but I can’t do that with there’s . As a 15 year customer I’ve realized that this bank does not care about its members what so ever. If you don’t believe me try to cash a cashiers check over $20k and see what happens.
