    No customer service here I ran into this bank because it was the closest one to me at the time, and I was in kind of a pinch, asked for a favor for just this once possibly all I needed was $18 worth change ( I had the money for of course) and they absolutely could not even consider doing it, i mean would it have REALLY hurt you to give me 18$ in coins, if we can't do simple favors once in awhile, what is customer service all about this place is definitely lacking any kindness or any consideration at all. Part of what's wrong with the world today

    Horrible Bank. I guess they can change the the terms and condition's with out notifying customers. They charged a service fee to a account that has never had service fee's. To make it worse, They charged this to my fathers account. This put his account in the negative. The account was only left open long enough to settle is affairs. So they charged a service fee to a man that has passed away, Good job SoutState Bank. Stay away from this Bank unless you don't care if they can and will change terms and conditions to be able to charge for no reason at all. HORRIABLE BANK! Update: South State refunded a $8 fee that they had no business charging in the first place. Here it is a month later and they did it again! They put my fathers " which has passed away" account in the minus again!! This shows how this bank is nothing but a group of RIPOFFS!. The account says clearly that it has no minimum balance and no monthly fees. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK!!!!!!!!

    My name is Tammy Baker. I would like to write a review on gay Bennett. She’s at the Arvada bank in Colorado. She is one of the best bankers I have had in all the years I’ve been banking. She goes above and beyond when there is a problem and she definitely has earned her money when it comes to dealing with me she deserves a raise that’s for sure. There hasn’t been a problem that I’ve had since you guys have changed thanks that she hasn’t been able to take care of and trust me I’ve been ready to leave this bank a few times, especially after reading some of the So be grateful that gay works at your bank because she is one hell of a woman when it comes to helping customers
