- JWJason WIIJul 18, 20252.0Insisted on me verbally telling her my SS# in the open public teller area with other clients & people around us as a 3rd form of ID for a CASH DEPOSIT into an account 'for security reasons'. She should show a little more concern for City National Bank's clients 'security' as well & at least have asked me to write it down on paper which i wish I had thought of at the time. /// I could have performed the SAME transaction at the ATM just outside the door with JUST my check card, but I had a separate question I needed to ask.

She claimed that she couldn’t verify the check. She was also unprofessional when I walked in. She asked me if I have ever cashed a check with City National Bank, and I replied, “I don’t know.” She replied with some condescending questions and frowned at me. I said, “I don’t know what’s unclear about “I don’t know.” I cash all types of escrow and payroll checks and this is the first time I’ve been denied.
