  I have personally banked with Citi since 2011 and feel that the bank and this branch has gone downhill since. During my most recent experience, I had a bill in my possession that was torn and took it in to be exchanged. The teller told me, "I cannot accept this, it's mutilated currency," she then proceeded to write the website for the Bureau of Engraving & Printing on a post-it. I didn't contest, but it sounded wrong to me. The following day, my mother took the same bill to Chase Bank and got a new one without a problem from the tellers. CitiBank- For a bank that does not have branches nation-wide and has very limited locations (and banking hours) throughout Southern California, this is a wild policy that puts more limits on how your clients bank. If this was an uneducated teller, please take the time to properly retrain your staff. I remember this branch when the tellers were Kenneth (?) and Kevin. Their customer service was the best and what kept my family banking with Citi for so long. I After the torn bill incident, I am seriously considering switching to Chase.

  The manager Yolanda at this location is very rude. She can’t even keep tellers for more than a year and there’s never enough tellers to help people . I had a great experience with a young man who took his time with me and was always polite and now he’s gone.

  Customer service here is basic at best. Heidi, who is exceptional, is the only reason for the one star given for this branch. Policy and procedures are not in favor for their clients. After a 55 year financial relationship, Citibank and their employees have soured at a time an elderly widow needs steller business practices and good behaviors for a loyal customer. To claim a death beneficiary, Citibank procrastinated for TWO MONTHS in sending out a benefit claim packet to a spouse!!! Upon which we were told we would need to prove our residential address along with the packet: utility bill or bank statement. Are you kidding me?!!!???! We have had a financial business relationship for 55 YEARS!!! !!!!! Citibank has sent statements, notifications, and business paperwork to our same address for 53 of those years and to one other address prior to that!!!!!! Sounds like Citibank is not following proper business practices and delaying to allocate my money that my spouse and I saved for our entire married life!! Shame on you Citibank! I encourage everyone to never trust or bank with Citibank from my experience as well as how they have demonstrated poor behavior in branch offices and corporate practices.
