  A Masterclass in Incompetence This Wells Fargo branch has provided one of the most astonishing displays of incompetence I’ve ever encountered. In August, my elderly mother and I went in to cancel a recurring payment. After nearly an hour of back-and-forth, we were told it had been resolved. It wasn’t. She went back a second time on her own—still not resolved. I then went a third time, armed with full documentation, identification, and a valid Power of Attorney, only to be told I now needed a “letter of incapacitation.” When I pointed out that my mother is not incapacitated, no one could explain what exactly this letter was supposed to say, who was meant to issue it, or why it was required at all. It was clear the staff had no idea what they were talking about. Throughout, they were curt, unhelpful, and evasive. When I asked for clarification, I was told to “call the bank”—while I was physically standing inside the bank. The entire experience revealed a stunning lack of training, accountability, and basic logic. Wells Fargo made the same error multiple times, refused to correct it, and treated us as if their confusion was somehow our problem. This isn’t just poor service; it’s institutional incompetence. Proceed with caution.

  I had a problem for a whole year where money was being withdrawn from my bank card, but I didn’t know the reason. Thanks to the honesty of this bank, the issue was finally resolved, and I was able to recover the money I had lost over the past year. Thank you very much for your excellent and honest service.

  Kenia is such an amazing employee, as soon as I walked in she welcomed me and as I approached the line to get helped I started choking up with my words and she immediately offered to get me some water! Wow, thank you so much the world needs more people like you with such great customer service!

  Every time I visit this particular branch, I always have good experience, staff is very friendly and very helpful. When you walk through the door you will be greeted by staff, and will answer any questions you might have. If there is something negative I can say , it would be lack of parking at times, if you’re visiting during the busy hrs, also at times it can be very busy and I feel like they need more tellers.

  I come here every week to make deposits for my business. The line is out of control almost every visit. Literally 30-45 minutes out of my day to deposit a check, and it’s the only branch in the area. Staff is very friendly but they obviously need at least two more tellers working the counter at all times. Will adjust my rating when that happens! Update: Reduced rating from 2 to 1 star because the problem has remained unaddressed for several years now and management staff indicated they will not be increasing teller numbers. Most of the staff at this branch just wanders around chitchatting when they should be expediting customer visits by filling in as teller on an as needed basis. This place is a pit of despair, and during almost every one of my visits someone in line loses it, angrily shouts at management, and storms out. Shame on you Wells Fargo! Update: Increased rating from 1 to 4 stars because they seem to be staffing more tellers. I have also been avoiding the branch on Friday afternoons when they are generally most busy.
