  I was just at the Sherman Oaks branch and a representative by the name of Bashar Kanounji helped me with. He was very pleasant, professional and helpful. He is an asset to that bank.

  I've been coming to this Citi branch in Sherman oaks for ~3 years. In my first attempt to open an account, I was paired with a Personal Banker named Cristian. Cristian has checked in every quarter and offered different ways for me to be more strategic with my money. With his help, I've successfully opened different cards/accounts based on Citi's promotions at different times that worked for my needs and lifestyle. I've been very pleased with the bank offers AND the customer service from everyone in the branch. Earlier this year, I opened a different Citi account with "qualifying activities," as required. A few months in, I noticed an issue where the expected monthly interest wasn't adding up. When I notified the branch staff, I was treated with such respect and care from first report to final resolution. I made an appointment to show the issue in person, but another attentive personal banker, Angela, reviewed my appointment request, and called me to say she already started an investigative case and that I didn't even need to come in, that she would keep me posted by phone - true to her word she followed up over phone and email as she had promised. Together, Cristian and Angela worked to resolve the issue and in less than 2 weeks (right before the 4th of July holiday) they had a resolution and fix that made me feel that they and the bank had done right by me. I'd highly recommend this team of professional and caring bankers.

  If they have time, it's great. If not, you are out of luck. Whether you go here or not depends on the level of professionalism and commitment you expect from people handling your money.
