It is NOT legal to collect this information - the employee has nothing to do with the transaction and should not have to give anything other than a form of ID. This branch doesnt seem to understand this. Other branches do. Given the manager wouldnt budge on her belief, I doubt she would accommodating working with other business related accounting issues. She wouldnt admit she was wrong even when other branches understand only someone banking with them needs to surrender such info. Bank elsewere.

I was greeted the moment that I walked in, how was assistant a minute later, and during my transaction the teller was polite and professional. I must add that the good customer service that I received today makes me feel good about doing future business with Citibank.
