- MHMani HashemiNov 10, 20251.0Avoid Wells Fargo – Customer Service on a Sharp Decline I came in to make a few quick changes to my account and stood around for several minutes with no clear direction or acknowledgment from anyone. When someone finally approached, they told me I’d need an appointment for something that should take just a few minutes. Then she added that people needed to lunch after their client and to come back in two hours — or go to another branch. I’ve never experienced anything like this at any of my other banks (I have three). I was also planning to open a new investment account and transfer my savings, but after this experience, I won't be doing that. It's important to have enough staff to be able to service your customers. Wells Fargo’s service has been going downhill fast. If you value your time and want to be treated like your business matters, go to Chase — they’ll treat you like a billionaire from the moment you walk in.
