They opened it for me but after 4 days, I received a call that we cannot verify your Social security card and we have to lock your account and will close it after 30 days if you don't show us the SSN card. Imagine a big bank like Citi cannot verify my SSN eventhoughIalreadyhaveacreditcardwith them. I provided my W2 and they didn't accept it since it was not the last year W2. My last year W2 only shows my last 4 digits of SSN. I offered to send them the picture of my SSN card or any other documents that show my SSN in them like Tax returns or credit reports. They said I must be there at their office and show them the SSN card and they have to see the SSN card. I never had such an issue with any other banks. Don't do any business with them.
