Flagstar Bank customer service is unable to say, but since they can't provide a phone number for the office or a description of what it does, it was a waste of time for my purposes.

Our insurance carrier has submitted and resubmitted evidence of insurance but Flagstar continues to send us letters that our insurance has expired. I've tried numerous times to call them about the error but can't get past the phone tree. We are in the process of transferring these loans to a more reputable (or at least minimally competent) bank.

Lenders and customers, please avoid using them at all costs

If you call them, you will be sent back and forth between ten different departments and your call will be dropped repeatedly. You will spend absurd amounts of time trying to accomplish simple tasks such as getting your money.
