- PCPhillip CreedOct 1, 20251.0Very nice people in the office. Yet this is where I began doing business with Wells Fargo and complete fail. F Wells Fargo. I have amazing credit. I provided all the required docs in person for a credit card. Then I get the email that requests the same docs be submitted online 🤦♂️ then 3 days later the decline. I’m so stupid thinking Wells Fargo was a good bank because I had identity theft and they made me jump thru hoops to have it cleaned up while other companies cleared the issue with a single 15 minute phone call (such as Discover card demonstrating excellent customer service). Try BofA or chase that are right next door. Wells Fargo had a major loan of mine for ~5 years and never a missed payment. So yeah never again. Update. Chase requested same docs submitted and got the approval within 24 hours. So Wells Fargo and capital one are on the avoid list. Third time. Can I subtract to negative 2??? The gall to reply my review and do nothing to resolve my issue. Proof of address was delivered personally. And submitted online. Letter received that said the reason for rejection was need for TWO proofs of address. The bank could’ve checked with a 5 minute phone call 🤷♂️

I need to wire some money and I am not comfortable doing this for the first time on my phone, so I came to this branch at 10am and it was empty but I was told to do it online or maybe they had someone available to help me, so I told them I would wait and then they told me no one is available but in ten minutes they may have someone but they may have an appointment already and if I wanted to wait longer. I just felt like they didn’t want to help.

And it's hard to go in when a lot of people have an 8-5 job and THEY CLOSE AT 5! (And no, what I need help with can't be done online or with the automated call. )
