  Although my parents account was closed about two years ago, Micaela Franchi went out of her way to help me see if a check drawn on my parents’ account had been cashed. She was absolutely lovely to deal with: kind, efficient and professional! Dean Gist, now at the Kearney Mesa location, was the perfect embodiment of what it meant to be the president of a people -oriented bank. He treated my parents and me as if we were his own family. I can’t say enough good things about Dean or this bank.

  I was connected to Torrey Pines Bank through Misti McDougall to set up a business account, and as a new business owner, I am so grateful. I was thoroughly and especially impressed with the both the bank teller’s, Chandler Reid and Yvonne Rodriguez, due to their consistent and exceptional service. They greeted me warmly, listened attentively, and provided clear explanations of banking options. The entire team has always displayed patience, empathy, and professionalism throughout, making me feel valued as a customer. Their efficiency and accuracy in transactions are commendable. I didn’t think it was possible to love a bank, but I really do appreciate all of their efforts immensely.

  As a young entrepreneur, it was important to me to find a bank that cared about my business success as much as I did, but torrey has delivered. I usually go to a different branch but I went to the headquarters and the branch manager Alina made me feel right at home and secured the decision I made to bank personally and for my business at Torry Pines.

  This is probably the most ridiculous bank I have ever been in. My father brought me to this bank to get an antique bracelet out from his safety deposit box for my mother’s birthday. It literally took over an hour for the staff to “add me in their system” before they would allow him to have access to his own safety deposit box. Seven employees walking around doing nothing but shuffling papers. The whole experience was surreal. We will be moving our safety deposit box in short order. It’s remarkable they seem miffed why a customer does not think waiting an hour for them to “add a co-signer” seems a bit unreasonable.
