I am a widow, I didn't have to work before and I've never had to handle papers so I trusted him in every single way but after few months I only saw loses close to 40k!! and on top of that he was trying to sell me life insurance for my son.. oh he was SO PUSHY. I knew something was wrong but I didn't know anything about finances or handling accounts.. until I talked to my tax person who told me that those numbers were not good at all. So, I started to meet other brokers and all of them gave me different explanations but one was consistent... "not all your investments can be losing all the time, there should be a balance" so then I realized that this guy was doing NOTHING for me but getting paid from my money. Last year I chose another broker in plan member services and HUGE DIFFERENCE. I wasn't losing money anymore, I didn't earn much at the beginning but now.. now I'm close to recover all Mr. Coombs made me loose.. He looks like and act like a extremely professional guy indeed.
