I was never mistreated and accused that I was trying to steal to the man I work for a 74 years old man who is recovering from an illness. He requires 24 hours care. He asked me to take him to this Wells Fargo in Palos Verdes on Hawthorne Blvd in the Peninsula Center to make a deposit. He asked for his balances and he was told you have no funds in your checking account and he was in shock so I asked the Teller if she was sure about that because he came previously to make a deposit to his checking account and the teller got bother with my question. She asked him if it was ok to talk to me? and he said YES but she wasn’t helpful and lost control of herself telling me not talk, I was there to help and guide him. She didn’t respect his wishes and all of this happened in front of all the customers at the bank waiting on line and the line was long. She wanted him to answer for him self which he could but at that point she shocked him with her behavior because he is a peaceful man and still weak so I was there to help him but she mentioned that she felt this is not right and asked him what are you purchasing and you don’t write that many checks. I couldn’t believe she went that far and said this is suspicious?
She asked him what else does he need and he was very nervous confused so I tried to help him and she attacked me saying to not talk if I do it one more time she will ask me to leave and call the manager. So he said I want to transfer money from one of my accounts to another account where he needs the money and she refused to do it. I am done with you she told him I can’t do this, something is not right you never done this before like transferring, I tried to say something and she asked who are you? are you a relative?
So she told him I can’t help you and you might need an appointment with the manager so we moved from her window embarrassed because every customer on line heard the scandal she caused.we were almost 1 hour wasted and he needed to go to a doctor’s appointment and do some errands and she destroyed the joy of our day and 3 of us felt sick, when he got out of the bank he felt sick to his stomach.
Very unprofessional, no customer service at all and this teller lost controlled of herself. If she was having a bad day or had problems in her life she shouldn’t come to work. We all deserve an apology and I understand that I am not in his accounts but if he authorized me to talk about his account with her this shouldn’t never happened. She needs to be thankful that I didn’t go off on her, I was a customer service for a corporation and I respect the man I work for because he is weak still, gets nervous and uncomfortable so I didn’t want to add more into this situation. After we left her window she comes outside in the lobby to tell him to come back to the window to set up an appointment with her manager for another day. So the other caregiver took him back and she asked him I heard it all asking him who was I and who is the lady that it was with him ? They are my caregivers he answered and she rolled her eyes to the caregiver. Unbelievable that this happened at this Wells Fargo Bank. We deserve an apology and we are thinking in closing our accounts because I have an account with Wells Fargo in another location. If this the way tellers treat their customers in the handicapped window because there is a handicapped sign there and the counter is low with a yellow chair. I will not recommend this bank to anyone and I will give them a zero in customer service.

Made an appointment for death of customer. The person they assign to us had no idea how to change the name of a trust account. She kept running around trying to find someone to help. After an hour and 15 min she finally submitted paperwork only to have it rejected. By the time she found out it was after 5 and the office was close. A complete waste of an hour an 45 min. As NOTHING was finished.

Avoid this branch!! If you need to make a deposit expect to wait in line for 30 mins. I hate coming here because it takes so long. If I could just do everything online I would, but I can’t. The people that work here are pretty friendly, however the wait times are outrageous.

I went inside this location to do something other than using the ATM, but it turns out I need an appointment to do so, because "today they only have 2 bankers and their appointments are already booked." At the same time one banker is sitting in his chair texting or checking TikTok. After noticing this, I asked if she was sure that there is nobody that can help me now. No can do. Wow.

Quite possibly the BEST banking experience I have had, for the last several years.
(I suspect some of the previously "bad" reviews as being bogus. Just my humble opinion).
EVERY time I visit this Branch, it is a positive experience. Bar none.
(Want to ALSO give a "shout-out" to a WF Branch in Mid-City, LA!! (OR, actually "MIDTOWN PLAZA", once I looked it up. 4700 W. Pico Blvd, 90019).
My 'point' here is not to compare these two Branches....except to say they are BOTH excellent!!! (In my experience....whatever it's worth).
