We visited the branch on Tuesday before noon, and your staff assured us that we would receive a confirmation email by the end of the day or, at the latest, by noon the next day. However, we received no communication. Despite calling several times and leaving voice messages, no one returned our calls. Later, we were told the process was postponed until the end of the day. We waited again. Finally, at 4:45 PM—just 15 minutes before closing—a staff member called to inform us that the account approval process would actually take seven business days. Had we been told this at the start, we would have considered other options and possibly opened the account with another bank in time for my daughter’s work needs. When I expressed my frustration, the representative’s response was unhelpful and dismissive, repeatedly suggesting we “just cancel” the application. This response was not only unprofessional but felt like an attempt to avoid accountability. After expressing my frustration more firmly, the staff member called back to say the account had been canceled because I raised my voice—a justification I believe was used to cover their lack of knowledge and inability to complete the account setup properly. This entire experience was unacceptable. Our time was wasted, we were misled multiple times, and treated without care or professionalism. I request that this complaint be investigated, and I would appreciate a formal apology and explanation from the branch regarding this incident.
