  On October 30, John Giddis “Racially”profiled me” from opening up a business account, he told me everything I need To bring, before I come down and open up a account I had everything He asked for, I wouldn’t have gave them a star, but that was the only way I was able to write this review🤷🏾‍♂️

  Although Citibank’s own website clearly explains how to sign over a check to a third party, the staff at this branch refused to follow that policy. I brought my mother—the original payee—to properly endorse the check in person, and we asked only to deposit the funds into my Citibank account, not to cash them. The teller and manager both declined without giving any clear explanation and showed little knowledge of Citibank’s published procedures. The branch was crowded, yet rather than assisting or providing guidance, the staff dismissed us, creating unnecessary hardship and wasting our time. Citibank should train employees to follow their own documented policies and treat customers with respect

  John, the Vice President and Branch Manager, is incompetent and lacks social skills. I opened a promotional account online and went to the nearest branch to verify that it was complete and that I was getting the promotion. John assured me that all was well. A month later I received no promotion. Returning to the branch, John not only didn't recognize me but he also said that I had not applied for the promotion. Not remembering a customer is one thing, but he had assured me that I would receive the promotion. He completed an online form and assured me that I would receive the promotion in 5 to 10 says. A week later I received a letter from Citibank. They denied my claim, even though the Vice President and Branch Manager had verified it. I can't explain the depth of his ineptitude. John wasn't there when I closed the account. The teller was friendly and had a great attitude. Perhaps she should be the manager.

  This is the worst ank I have ever tried to deal with. For weeks now, I Can't thru on the phone to anyone, cant make an appointment to talk to anyone, and their physical locations are mostly closed. I can't imagine how I might access this bank at a time of real emergency such as n earthquake. Horrible.
