- AOAdriana OchoaSep 20, 20251.0Although Citibank’s own website clearly explains how to sign over a check to a third party, the staff at this branch refused to follow that policy. I brought my mother—the original payee—to properly endorse the check in person, and we asked only to deposit the funds into my Citibank account, not to cash them. The teller and manager both declined without giving any clear explanation and showed little knowledge of Citibank’s published procedures. The branch was crowded, yet rather than assisting or providing guidance, the staff dismissed us, creating unnecessary hardship and wasting our time. Citibank should train employees to follow their own documented policies and treat customers with respect
- HHHeatherNov 24, 20201.0CitiBank has the WORST customer service! We have been working with them for almost a year and it has been a horrible experience. Nothing like being passed around the globe and providing your personal information to 10 people that are unable to assist you only to be passed on AGAIN!! Want to talk to a live person at a branch? Good luck! I called the Riverside branch 5 times this morning only to be disconnected. Once they obtain your money, they lock you out of your account even though you already had mature cash in the account. They send you messages that can only be accessed from your account but you CAN'T ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT!! I will be working on moving my money ASAP! It's been 12 months of hell with CitiBank!! They don't deserve any stars!
