- SMSteve MccannOct 25, 20251.0Hurts to leave a negative review but they earned it. Used my Altura credit card as a “hold” with a merchant. After the deal was completed and paid by other means the merchant also charged my CC. I disputed and Altura denied the claim despite showing them Emails, communication w merchant etc. don’t trust this bank to be a consumer advocate!!!!
- SGStacy GummsOct 23, 20251.0I’m extremely disappointed with how Altura Credit Union handled my situation. A fraudulent account was opened in my name around June 2020 while I was deployed overseas, and despite repeated disputes and requests, Altura has refused to properly investigate or provide proof that I ever opened or used this account. Their fraud department has been rude, dismissive, and unprofessional — one representative even refused to escalate my case or review my documentation. I asked multiple times for a copy of the signed loan agreement or account application, and they could not provide one. Yet, Altura continues to report a “loan charge-off” with a $0 balance on my credit reports, which makes no sense and damages my reputation and credit standing. No consumer deserves this kind of treatment, especially after becoming a victim of identity theft. I strongly urge Altura Credit Union to take accountability, train their staff in proper fraud procedures, and fix their broken reporting process.

I'm next and they had nothing at that point. No one's fives or tens at all. Middle of the day on a normal Monday and they can't make change . . . .

I was feeling mighty low today, and Miss Dianna Burnett made my day with all positive talks and to uplift me. By the time I left the bank I was again smiling and feeling like the whole world had been lifted off my shoulders. Then I met the bank branch manager Mrs. Ronda Redmon, she came and smiled and gave me a hug too.. what an awesome place to bank where love smiles and compassion lay waiting to make your day. Thank you so much for your generous support ❤️
