My first advisor, Nick Panino, was easy to talk to and made me feel understood. When my accounts were handed to Vince Fierro around 2013, things changed. Over the years, I often went out of my way to share my situation — my concerns about inflation, alternative investments, and how my needs were evolving. Yet, the conversations always circled back to Edward Jones’ internal policies and standard recommendations. I rarely felt heard or supported on a personal level. Vince may mean well, but his approach is detached and process-driven. I believe a financial advisor’s role is to listen, guide, and help people navigate their retirement goals — not just follow a script. That disconnect left me feeling stuck and unseen for many years. I even met with him in person to try to repair the relationship, but it always felt one-sided. After all this time, I’ve come to realize that Edward Jones’ advisory model is outdated — focused more on procedure than personal connection — and there are now better options with lower fees and greater transparency. I wish my review could be more positive, but it needs to be honest. If you’re someone who values genuine communication and wants to feel truly heard, this may not be the right fit for you.
