I came in simply to verify whether a check reversal had been completed, something that should have been a straightforward question. Instead, I was met with a dismissive and condescending attitude from the branch manager, Galindo.Rather than listening or showing any empathy for the situation, especially after I explained that the check had been endorsed at their branch per their staff’s instructions, he continually talked over me and responded with, “What do you want me to do about it?” That kind of response is not only unprofessional, it’s unacceptable from someone in a management role. As a manager myself, I understand how important it is to handle customer frustration with patience and professionalism. This experience reflected neither. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable only for clarity and respect. I hope City Bank takes this feedback seriously and provides Galindo with proper customer service and communication training, because this type of behavior directly affects the reputation of the entire branch.

My overall experience with the bank had been an absolute nightmare. However, when I visited this branch, I was met with a warm welcome and genuine support. The branch manager and one of the tellers took the time to sit with me, calmly listen, and help me figure out the issue with my account. They made the necessary calls on my behalf and resolved the issue quickly and efficiently. It was such a relief during a very frustrating situation. Thank you for your professionalism, patience, and excellent service.
