- RSRoyce SullivanOct 18, 20251.0Management and Staff are uneducated on what the laws are for video taping from a public sidewalk, there is no laws are regulations against filming or video taping from a public sidewalk. Your bank is in a fishbowl. You have multiple cameras mounted on the outside on the public sidewalk and the ones inside are facing the street, so it's ok for you to record but not the public on a public sidewalk. If your employees are not comfortable with cameras maybe get a job in a warehouse. Or a building without windows. Also your civil rights does not give you the right to tell a person or public sidewalk they can't record you there is no expectation of privacy and public no different than you don't tell people hey I'm recording you when you want down the sidewalk then your manager comes out and harasses of all my citizen standing on a public sidewalk telling her she does not have rights in the USA.

Initially I called into their customer service line and their representative said that I needed to sign in online and create a message and state that I wanted to close my account. So thats what I did, and Umpqua responded that they needed additional approval from the Petaluma office before they can close the account and they would be contacting me. It has been over a month since I put in my request and nobody has contacted me. Meanwhile they keep taking fees from my account. This is very bad customer service. I will NEVER be banking with Umpqua again. I recommend you look elsewhere for your banking needs
