The young woman sitting right inside the door seemed annoyed to take off her head phones (not a phone headset, orange headphones). She told me that both bankers (herself and a guy behind her, neither of whom had a customer with them) were all booked for the day and that I'd have to make an appointment. Reading comments here, that could be days to weeks which doesn't inspire me to deal with that in the future. If the branch has such a backlog of appointments, maybe they should hire another banker. I've decided to keep my current bank, even though they don't have a location here. Their online system can provide better customer service than I just received. Edit: The canned response from Wells Fargo corporate is not appreciated. At least vary the script instead of cut and paste.

I went into this branch and ask if I could change a fifty dollar bill for fifty ones? I was told NO because they could not verify that I was a Wellsfargo customer. I was in disbelief and went to speak with Marisela L Davila to let her know that I was indeed a customer. She told me I would have to open an account to get the simple change transaction I wanted. I said ok. She said I can't do that now we are too musy you will have to make an appointment. There was not one person in the building but they were too busy to service a customer. I then went online and made an appointment to open a checking account which they were offering $300 bonus. I have opened a checking account and only keep the minimum of $500 in it so they can't charge a fee. I have paid my credit card to zero and haven't used it in a year since this happened. So my suggestion is to hit them where it counts, in the pocket. I got my $300 from them and went and opened an account at PNC which has GREAT customer service. This branch does NOT get that you build business through community relationships and they have NO desire to do so or even just simply be kind.
