- JBJoseph Anthony BakerApr 7, 20255.0Hello, everyone; not all branch managers are created equal. I recently sold my car and was paid with a cashier's check. Because of the weekend, my branch manager said because of the weekend there would be an 8-day hold. I have been a customer for over 5 years, and my combined account balance exceeded the check amount. I made a scene expressing my displeasure. The branch manager stepped in and explained that the first $5k would be available immediately but offered to do nothing to help make my funds available early. John Paul, the branch manager at the Pacific Palisades location, heard about my frustration and reached out by phone and offered to contact the bank that the cashier's check was issued from to help me get my funds sooner than the 8-day hold time. This was an exceptional act of kindness and customer service that is seldomly experienced in the hustle and bustle world that we live in today. Thank you John. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
