- ELemil lionJan 14, 20241.0I'm breaking up with you Citibank! I don't like how you're treating me lately. Changing terms, forcing me to keep more in my accounts to avoid fees. Adding new requirements of direct deposits. I don't want my bank strong arming me. Making it harder to manage my IRA. Conflicting information between the call center and the branch about transfer fees and procedures. The last straw was being prevented from picking my preferred new CD IRA rate until I "upgrade" my account to one that requires me tp keep a higher amount with Citi. Now, I have to be super vigilant, wary and spend extra time with the banking process. I have to ask every time if there's a hidden fee. I require my bank to be convenient not predatory. I just don't have that energy or the time! No wonder you had the lousiest last quarter in your history with customers leaving. Update: Closed my account.
