  Today I went to withdraw petty cash by depositing a check and then immediately withdrawing the funds. I had no issue doing this last year, which is why I returned to the same branch. I explained what I needed to a very nice young teller who admitted she wasn’t sure how to process it. She called over a colleague, who was also confused. Thankfully, the teller who helped me with this exact transaction last year happened to walk up. I mentioned that she had helped me before, assuming she would know what to do. Instead, she reacted with hostility. Her tone immediately turned rude and raised, her expression unpleasant, and she told me I could not complete the transaction because the check did not say “petty cash” and because I’m not an authorized signer. I was shocked by her response, especially since she personally processed the exact same transaction for me last year without issue. As she continued to speak to me in an unnecessarily angry manner, I remained calm and polite. I am pregnant and did not want to put myself or my baby under stress, but the interaction triggered an anxiety attack. My face and neck turned red, and I could see the concern on the other tellers’ faces as they noticed my reaction. Unfortunately, the teller who was rude walked away abruptly before I could get her name. To make matters worse, the check was unnecessarily destroyed. I could have had someone else who is an authorized signer complete the transaction for me instead. Because of her attitude and actions, I was left with more work, unnecessary emotional distress, and concern for my baby’s well-being. Based on other reviews, it seems this teller has treated multiple customers in the same way. I’m disappointed that Wells Fargo continues to employ someone with such a consistently nasty attitude, especially in a customer-facing role. I can only imagine how stressful it must be for her coworkers to work alongside her. I truly hope Wells Fargo takes action, because this type of behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated in any customer service setting.

  I visited Napa branch Jefferson street. talked to the lady manager and if I could request some new $20 and new $50 bills for Christmas holiday. The lady manager said, " yes " we can save you the new bills and she asked my name/phone #. She told me by two weeks we should be getting some new bills. I visited again three weeks later hoping they didn't forget about me and sure enough the lady manager was not available and talked to a gentleman manager about the new bills. he told me " were not gonna gets some new bills this year " or stop by anytime hopefully we might get some new bills. what a waist of time, been member for 25 years and I don't request a lot. no communication to all managers. very disappointment. if maybe I have six digit money in the bank the story will be different.
