  If I could give less than 1 star I would. This location has a problem with not checking their bills and releasing counterfeits to their customers. I recently received a counterfeit 100 dollar bill from this location and went directly to another bank to deposit it, only to have them scan it and find it was a fake. I went DIRECTLY from Wells Fargo to another bank right across the street. No other stops. Wells Fargo refused to reimburse me the $100 and even went as far as to claim the other bank may have not known what they were doing. I stood there and watched the clerk at Wells Fargo pull the bills from a drawer without checking them before she handed them to me. I also watched the bankers at Pacific Premier bank run the bill through multiple tests to ensure it was a fake. Wells Fargo needs to do better at this location. I'm not a big shot and they really dont care if I close my account because of this or not. I've banked with them for 16 years and when they mess up they tell you "sorry, no sorry". My only recourse at this point is to just write this really negative review because I'm still out $100. I highly recommend NOT banking at this location. Wells Fargo has always been good to me at every other location that is a real bank, not some half bank in a grocery store that doesn't check their bills. Thanks for stealing $100 from me Wells Fargo. It was for rent and I still owe that money to my landlord. **I want to edit this review by saying I reached out to the email the owner of the bank (jules) mentioned in their comment and I received my $100 back. Thank you for being on this for me. I appreciate it.

  Terrible branch. Never go here, go to the SLO establishment instead. I have been with Wells Fargo for 8 years now and have never had a good experience with this branch. Other locations have been phenomenal at helping and taking care of my banking needs, this one not at all. From being closed absurd amounts of time throughout COVID, to just being closed on random days, not having staff that can actually help you with your banking needs, keep in mind. A bank that cannot help you with banking. I have given this branch far too many chances and they have come up short every time, if I could give it zero stars I would. Get your branch together Morro Bay Wells.

  At first I went to the full branch in SLO but this is also a full service branch and has a lot better customer service, esp Robby tried to fix what SLO screwed up.
