  Super customer service leaded by Monique Douglas, Branch Manager. My family accounts were in disarray due to death in family over couple years. Visits to office during COVID peak time did not resolve account integrity. Recent return to branch office inquired accounts status. A team leaded by Monique works diligently. Multi family accounts are now have accurate records with security measures.

  Citibank on Mchenry in Modesto, it is the second time I go to that branch and have them freezing my account for suspecting that I'm committing fraud, I have had account with Citibank (personal and business and credit cards) for almost 2 decades, I never ever had committed fraud, I will never do it, I have very clean record, actually I am TSA clear. But I am a foreigner, have an accent, darker skin and tattoos. So when I went to McHenry branch and withdraw a large amount from my business account, but I still left a very larger amount in my account, that branch thought it was suspicious and closed my accounts for fraud. Citibank don't tell me what the problem is, they have all my funds, my business is suffering, I am struggling, and they simply tell me that if there are any funds they give me a check within 30 to 60 days, I guess I am supposed to stop my business for 2 months, I am a contractor and can't do that After a week, I went back to that McHenry branch and asked them to get my statements for last year as I need for taxes and I don'thave any access to my accounts anymore, the teller told me that she could do that. I drove to the Oakdale rd branch were all the staff (managers and tellers) have been very helpful, and the teller just printed all the statements that I needed with no problem. I guess being foreigner, have an accent, tattoos and dark skin is a problem on the McHenry branch. I am giving zero start to McHenry branch and Citibank, I am giving 5 starts to the Oakdale rd branch. If you are going to take your business or personal accounts to Citibank, go to the Oakdale rd one.

  Monique is AMAZING! The literal reason I’ve stayed with Citibank for so long. She is assuring, knowledgeable and very helpful. I appreciate all she’s helped me with. She goes above and beyond. A true professional!

  The tellers are always welcoming and greeting their customers with a smile. The few tellers who have been there the longest, definitely make it obvious who their regulars are, as they know them by name and ask them how life is! This branch treats you like family and they notice how often you come in, as soon as you know it, they learn your financial habits which is quite funny and helps when you need to go in and out quickly! There is never a long wait there, no more then 5 minutes, as they usually have 2-3 tellers daily when most banks only have 2 tellers. On busy days they have 3-4 tellers, which is a lifesaver!!! If there ever is a long wait or a line to the door (do not fear this...) the line will go fast as they are very efficient in a timely matter, usually this type of line is on a Friday between 4-5 PM or ANY typical busy day, 1st, 3rd, before or after a holiday. You can tell all the tellers hustle in a good way (very efficient) to be considerate of their customers in line patiently waiting. I haven't had to wait longer then 15 mins in line, and even then they still thank you for patiently waiting. I've seen them help one another with customers if one teller has more experience than the other. I love how spirited they are on Friday's, the women here are not catty, they have a good eye for possible financial needs and definitely have my best interest in mind! They have educated me in credit card usage, ways to avoid fees, earn cash back rewards, like I said they truly look out for you and care!!! They are not robotic or act like they hate their job. These girls have fun and you can tell they all get along working and enjoy what they do! Tuesdays through Thursdays between 11:30-1 PM and 2:30-4 PM are the best times to visit if you need to hold up the line a little longer then normal or need to call for an issue.
