I was very disappointed with my experience at this branch. The banker I spoke with was unprofessional and unhelpful compared to other banks nearby. He was dismissive, pretending not to understand what I meant by upgrading my credit card and insisting that both my current card, which I’ve had for nearly 10 years, and the new one offered cash back, as if he didn’t understand why I wanted to switch. I wanted to upgrade because the new card has higher cash back rewards, but his behavior left me frustrated and unheard.
He told me I could apply for a new card over the phone and switch my card over the app, which I appreciated, but his treatment made me lose interest in doing so. Because of this poor service, I plan to open a checking and credit card account with another bank that provides far better customer service.

This is a report against the business client banker Mr. Khan for his extremely unprofessional, rude and discriminatory behaviors on Monday September 15th afternoon. From the first moment as I arrived at the appointment he called me to schedule, perhaps because of the religious institution content on my shirt, his attitude shifted 180 degree from his attitude over the counter before his lunch break when he tried to sell me the business banking. As I arrived shortly after 2pm, he never greeted me or made any friendly gesture. I patiently waited for him to get off his call despite it was 5 minutes into our scheduled time, but he rudely asked me to get in his cubicle and sit without eye contact, without any greeting, and without even a "please". He also violated my consumer rights by trying to force me to lie about what I remember and what I do not remember in regards to trivial non-identification personal information, despite my explanation to him that I was just being honest with him, in order to get the account opening faster despite me showing him my IDs already. He went to the extent by pointing two fingers at me with his thumb up in a pistol shape to tell me to get out, at least twice, which made me feel threatened as a customer when I told him he was violating my rights by forcing me to lie in order to open my account or to open it faster.
I request a thorough investigation in his behaviors and why he treats a business community organizer of over 50,000 subscribers with over 1,000 corporations and startups among them in this manner. Even more ridiculously he was the one who dissed other banks by telling me how bad other banks are, to try to get me to make an appointment to go with him to begin with. This is the worst banker I've met at Wells Fargo since 2010.
The teller side bankers were always courteous and kind. They deserve the foremost respect from the neighborhood and customers like us. However, Mr. Khan was the opposite from the them. Unfortunately this experience damages the perception of the Wells Fargo brand, and will be shared with my circles who consider Wells Fargo and this branch for their corporate accounts.

It is a shame that Wells Fargo still has anti black employees, even after all of the lawsuits they've experienced as a result. Aside from being profiled from prejudice bankers like James; Wells Fargo charges excessive fees, high interest rates for loans and offers low interest on money market and savings accounts... especially if you are a minority.
Thanks to James I had to pull my elderly and disabled mother out of the house to deposit an insurance check that he could have called to verify instead of rolling his eyes and storming off mid-sentence. Thank you for making an awful experience even worse. The fact that unstable individuals like this have access to all of our personal information makes me extremely uncomfortable.
We've since opened a checking and money market account at another financial institution and will be earning 3.5% interest on those checks Wells Fargo refused to let us deposit. I look forward to closing our last account with Wells Fargo after our tenants deposit their rent checks on the first.
What a great way to handle business with all of the competition. If James had simply said, "I apologize for the inconvenience, however, I won't be able to deposit this check" and gave me a valid reason without being disrespectful; I would not have escalated this.

I had an appointment with James at 2:30. I left at 2:50 as there was still no sign of him. Unprofessional and irrespectful..
