- RRRichardDec 23, 20255.0We're a family from England currently on vacation in California. We were last in the US in April, and we had a bad experience at a certain world leading hotel chain. They refunded us via a Wells Fargo check, that was sent to our home in the UK. Our bank in England were unable to cash the check, so knowing we were travelling to the US for Christmas we brought it with us. We really expected the worse, but the lady who served us was helpful, and friendly, and she cashed the check for us, with no charge. Every country deals with things differently, but we really couldn't have expected a better experience! Don't suspect there's many Brits on holiday who go into a Wells Fargo, so it added a different kind of experience for us 😊
- MBmargaret beckMay 1, 20241.0Wells Fargo recently ‘elevated’ my account status to Premier that requires a cumulative $250,000 balance to access the supposed benefits. They did this without asking if I was interested. I am furious because now their representatives cannot locate my previous account details. I have banked with WF for well over 30 years & they cannot locate my account details?!!!!!!!! This is beyond unacceptable!!!!!! Hopefully, I will prevail. If not, I may need to find another financial institution.

I was asked a dozens of questions to verify my account and then they still told me I had to have a cell phone on me for a verification code when I had mentioned I did not have one on me. Any excuse to withhold service. Horrible.
