Regina of Citibank Los Gatos branch told me that the minimum deposit balance has to be $30,000 to avoid a $15 monthly service fee. I am writing to FDIC and Citibank New York head office to file a complaint right now. I am also filling up the whistleblower form at Citibank website. Regina of Citibank Los Gatos branch is exactly who and this is exactly how the big banks get a bad name. This is ridiculous, $30,000 minimum deposit for 18 years old girl to open a checking account.
