They closed my account because of insufficient funds when transferring money from my chase account to this new account. So basically the check bounced because I had a automatic withdrawl the same time and they told me since I was new that is considered fraudulent activity for depositing a check that could not be covered at that time. It was a few hundred dollar check nothing extreme. Not even a chance to explain or cover the charges they just closed my account. I spoke to bankers on the phone and the local branch they said there decision was final. Had I known that would happen I would have never closed my chase account and switched. Thought it would be better choice but definitely regret it will now have to look for another bank once again.
