- POPaul OjaApr 29, 20221.0They charge you international fee of 1% for every transaction. I started to travel a lot and you will get hundreds of dollars of fees. SF Fire CU, which I was a member before moving to LA. They NEVER charged for any ATM anywhere in the world. I thought credit unions were customer oriented and not like big banks with these fees. I am going to close my account. Also, had a main branch closed for lunch. Talked to the regional manager and he was rude, impatient and said he couldn't staff his branches. Really? Who closes at lunch when everyone is trying to come and do business when working? They had a line outside the door with upset clients. Not impressed at all with this institution. These are only the bigger issues.
