I strongly advise against banking with Wells Fargo. I deposited a substantial amount of money from my Chase account, and Chase released the funds immediately. Despite this, Wells Fargo has chosen to make only a fraction of my own money available to me.
When I went to the branch to resolve the issue, Wells Fargo employees confirmed that they have received the full deposit. Yet they are still imposing an unjustified hold of more than seven days. This delay is unacceptable and appears inconsistent with federal funds-availability guidelines, especially since the originating bank has already cleared the transfer and my account has no negative history whatsoever.
Consumers should be aware that Wells Fargo has a long record of regulatory actions and has paid billions in fines for misconduct—information that is publicly documented. My current experience reflects the same pattern of problematic practices that regulators have repeatedly addressed.
Once Wells Fargo releases the money that is rightfully mine, I will be closing all of my accounts with them. I will not continue to do business with an institution that treats its customers this way.

Never enough staff to help people. Everyone ignores you, no one acknowledges you. No wonder everyone wants to switch banks.

This particular branch left me speechless... but not for long. The level of disorganization, unprofessionalism and lack of any resemblance to what a business should run like was astonishing. I have held personal and business account in Wells Fargo over the years and customer service, transparency and management quality was never an issue. But that was in LA.
This branch, however, was in Stone Age!
I came in today. Was told to scan a QR code, sign in digitally and take a seat. Did that at 3:45. Was 4th in line. Three employees were manning the floor, plus tellers were taking care of their usual matters behind the counters. By 4:20 pm I was 1st in line.
At 4:23 pm an employee came to the center of the floor and made this announcement: " I just want to let you guys (that's us, the customers) know that we close at 5pm and I just got this lady here, who has an appointment, so I will take her first and she needs a lot done, so you will not be served today. Please make an appointment for another day"... When I voiced my displeasure and questioned her actions, she replied that she didn't know that the lady with an appointment would be coming in..???
I pointed out to her that since there is a digital sign in in place and the appointments obviously show in the system, she could have informed us a while ago, and not after full 40 minutes of us waiting. To which she said she was sorry and she couldn't help us - wait for it...BECAUSE WE DIDN'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT.
When I insisted that the lady has someone else help us, she responded with a straight face that there was no one else. But wait, if your bank business hours end at 5 pm, than what happened to the other two employees manning the floor at 3:45, when we walked in?
Did they cut their day short? Did they evaporate?
Did they get paid for the full work day while being nowhere to be found at the time of NINE customers waiting patiently, having digitally signed in before 4 pm? Hmmm... interesting. My time is no less valuable than that of the bank employees. I take an issue with being treated with such disrespect and disregard to my banking needs. I want customers to know what kind of "service" they would subjected to choosing this branch of Wells Fargo. I also will be grateful if someone from upper management could contact me to explain how this level of unprofessionalism is tolerated and what will be done about it. I will be happy to provide copies of the digital sign-in records. 40 minutes of futile waiting and no reasonable explanation for service refusal after that is not acceptable by any standard.
