  Been with Citibank more than 10 years and customer service is now at an all time low. Can't even get a real person to speak to on the phone. Will be closing my accounts in the next 30 days and moving to a local Credit Union. Save yourself some frustration and don't bank here

  There's nothing wrong this location. There are however reviews that need explanation. It's a bank. There are regulations for the protection of the bank and ALL the customers. When you open a bank account you a get a document that tells you what the hold times are. The told times are based on several factors including your banking relationship. Clearly those posting their complaints have no idea how extensive check fraud is in California. The cost of processing checks that are NSF and dealing with fraud are expensive and so checks get holds. That's why banks push you to get Direct Deposit whenever possible. Then notion that "it's my money" is a fallacy. It WILL be your money when the bank that the check is from releases the money to Citi and it goes into your account. THEN it's your money. Before that it's a LOAN.

  Horrible. Would not recommend. Amy Vasquez was the only one with working brain cells to find out where my missing money was after visiting this branch 4 TIMES!!! Shoutout to Amy!! But seriously, closing my account after today. 0/10
