In summer '11, I was attracted to this Wells Fargo branch for its convenient location right next to all my favorite stores. The branch representative that I will be eligible for a free-checking account if I have the direct deposit set up. I asked the rep that I do not get paid during summer, as a teacher. The branch rep told me that the branch has lots of teacher clients, and the branch manager will wave their fee for the summer months. Everything seems to be nice... As this summer is about to be ended I noticed that my free-checking was charged with regular fee. I called the branch to explain what I was told when the account was opened. The branch clerk told me that the manager told her that I will not waive the fee. In order to wave the fee, I have to go in and to explain to the manager who was the representative opened the account, ...... I can't remember the name of the rep, but the would not save my fee to make another fellow to lose his job, if he is still there. I moved just on.
