  Why does Wells Fargo charge unfair fees to its customers when it creates money out of thin air every time it issues a loan?

  On August 12, 2025, I had one of the worst banking experiences I’ve ever encountered at the Wells Fargo branch. I came in with a simple issue regarding my account and expected a professional explanation. Instead, I was met with disrespect, hostility, and unprofessional behavior from the branch manager, Orlando Martinez. The teller was unable to continue assisting me, so Mr. Martinez stepped in. Rather than providing clarity, he immediately told me that my account was fine and the issue was with my ATM card. When I asked follow-up questions, he accused me of being rude and disrespectful, which left me stunned. I even apologized, hoping to de-escalate the situation, but his tone only became more aggressive. As I tried to ask additional questions, he told me I wasn’t listening, dismissed the teller as “too new” to explain my account, and carried himself with a short-tempered, confrontational attitude. I chose to remain quiet at that point, thinking he would either complete the transaction or allow the teller to proceed. Instead, he abruptly canceled the transaction and told me to leave the bank. When I questioned why, he claimed that the way I looked at him was “intimidating.” The teller’s face showed embarrassment, and several customers in line appeared confused by his outburst. I left the branch feeling discriminated against and unfairly treated. I have already filed a formal complaint with Wells Fargo headquarters, but I feel strongly that customers deserve to be treated with dignity and respect—especially by management. At the very least, I expect an apology from Mr. Martinez and appropriate recourse to ensure that no other customer is treated this way.

  If customer service were a comedy show, my recent visit with Orlando Martinez at Wells Fargo’s Adams & Beach branch would’ve been an open-mic night gone wrong. I came in expecting professionalism, guidance, and maybe even a smile—what I got was a speed run through my concerns with the enthusiasm of someone reading the fine print on a fax machine. As a long-time customer, I’ve always believed banking should be about relationships, trust, and solutions. This felt more like a drive-thru experience… without the fries. One star for the location being convenient—because unfortunately, that was the highlight.

  On Aug 12th, I witnessed the bank manager being rude and discriminating to a young african american man for no reason at all. He referred to this gentleman as intimidating. and disrespectful, and none of that, what's true. I was so disturbed that I took the time to find out the name of the manager. So I could post my review. The name of manager is Orlando Martinez. I truly hope that my review leads to disciplinary actions of Orlando Martinez. No manager should speak in this manner. Even if a customer is wrong.

  The other day the branch manager seemed to be singling out this man unfairly and it was quite upsetting to observe. The bank manager's behavior was completely uncalled for and created a hostile environment. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of their background. It is essential that all individuals are treated equally and with basic courtesy. The Branch manager is Orlando Martinez.
