The larger bank became increasingly impersonal and fee heavy, thus I decided to search for a new bank. I have been extremely happy with the Goleta branch of the Banc of California. Their customer service is off the charts and they offer everything I need for my business. I have even opened 2 personal CDs with them because they are so easy to deal with. I won't bank anywhere else!

My friend (in a wheelchair) was asked by manager Rakesh to get 3 months of bank statements from another bank in order to put a lousy $50 in a new checking account. I called him and he gave me no good explanation for this. This is not only ridiculous but probably goes against the Americans with Disability act. With all the bank fails lately, Do not go here and take your money out if you are a customer!
