    Baeed on prior reviews, Initially I was concern about the efficiency managing my account in person at the branch. I arrived at 1630 to close a CD, I was immediately directed to the customer desk and I got my cashier's check in my hand walking out by 1655. All the bank employees were courteous, communicate well in English, and very professional. Parking was extremely easy.

    Bank of Hope........ the name of the bank speaks for itself..... Hoping they at least accept the borrower application form for the paycheck protection program (PPP). Fact: Bank of Hope only takes application from big businesses and their family members. First Trial: from 7 different branches: "we never heard of it; we weren't notified; we're done with accepting applications; the person that's accepting the application is on vacation" Second Trial: same branches as first: basically the same answer from the first trial. Proven: Uncle with 23 restaurants got approved for PPP; Friend that owns a big clothing company also got approved; Close Friend that works at Bank of Hope quotes " I'll be honest with you. Stop trying. We already knew about this program before it was announced publicly and already notified all our top priority clients and told them about PPP. Start the application and we will approve it". Close friend that has a family member working at Bank of Hope, who is very highly positioned, quotes " I got approved " Yes, one of my family member who owns a small business is trying for the paycheck protection program. Keep in mind folks. If you're not wealthy ( I mean filthy rich that has tremendous amount of money in their vault ), or has a highly positioned banker as a family member, don't even think about applying for the program.
