- SMSteven MartinezJul 8, 20251.0My father and I went in to transfer a safety deposit box under my name. We had to set an appointment with a banker and the teller stated that it would be some paperwork but it would be possible. We then went to the appointment and were told we couldn’t simply transfer ownership and there would be a two month waiting period in order to gain ownership of the security deposit box. The banker also told us the box would not be guaranteed. The teller who made the appointment for us did not mention any of the particulars of such process. They failed to set proper expectations which led to wasted time. They also forgot to mention we would need another person who was listed as an owner to also be with us. Very disappointing experience.

Wells Fargo, the same bank that is quick to charge an arm and a leg for any and everything, does not have any common courtesy regarding their members or guest. The bare minimum, yes... maybe but regardless the service is poor. You cant explain half of the information as a manager. You cant Be polite? You cant expect people to come back with service like this.
