  Had an appointment at 3pm with Kim. Checked in and they told me to sit and wait for her. Was sitting there until 3:30pm and no one said anything or updated me when I would be seen. She walked by me a few times too and said nothing. I just walked out cause I had another appointment elsewhere to go to. Very unprofessional and will me moving my money to Chase. Waste of my time.

  So bad. So hard to do business with. They don't pickup their calls. The call then automatically gets transferred to a call center, which is an automated system that couldn't help me with disputing a charge on my checking account. When I got to a representative, he hung up on me. So frustrating. Jane Fraser is the CEO of Citi. Sometimes, corporations spend $$ to take survey of customers when they only need to look at Yelp or Google reviews to see how they are doing. Free. ---------------- Update after "owner response:" As you can see, even the presumably corporate people point you to different channels and don't take ownership of the issue. You get that a lot after going through the many layers and finger-pointing before you can do business with Citi. I didn't call the branch once. I called three (3) times, and all were rolled into the call center. I called again after the "owner's response," and the same thing happened. The call rolled into the call center. If Citi Corporate folks want to really identify the problem to improve, they should simply call the branch a couple of times on different day and time to see how often they can connect to the branch people. The only reason I barely stay with Citi is that some of their upper echelon people (wealth management) are knowledgeable and can provide some professionalism. The lower ranks are pretty bad. They don't know their products.

  Horrible, unprofessional service! We came in to open a safety box & we were told that we need to open a new account with $30,000 & be a gold member. I repeatedly asked Bao if that was the only choice. I was surprised when she said yes. Bao & her manager, Tom, seemed uninterested in our business & told us to go home. I was shocked because I've been their customer for over 30 years. They didn't seem to know about their products or the options available to their customers. So we went to the Citibank in Huntington Beach on Edinger Ave. Immediately they opened a Safety box with a new account for just $500. They were professional, knowledgeable & interested in our business. All the employees there are helpful, kind & friendly. Citibank in Huntington Beach will treat you well!

  Do not bank here unless you want to waste your time. I had a terrible experience with Citibank when trying to open a business account. After going through the process, I never received my debit cards. When I called to ask about them, I was told that I never requested them — which makes no sense, since I was opening a business account and of course needed access to the funds. To make matters worse, they said it would take about a month to send the cards out. Complete waste of my time and extremely poor customer service. I expected much better from a major bank.

  Crazy that I can go in and sign up for credit cards, but they wouldn’t let me get change for cash because I don’t have an account for debit? Poor customer service
