I , myself got a cashiers check to myself in Plymouth MN from a Wells Fargo bank,, now in California with real ID, social security card, official change of address in hand, Wells Fargo cashiers check from June of 2025 walked into the bank to reopen the account, cash my cashiers check, again Wells Fargo cashiers check, I was told by the checker it has to be validated as if it was a personal check or different banks , then she was arguing that my account still shows my Minnesota address, I called customer service was told NO THATS NOT CORRECT my account is showing my new Fontana CA address. She then told me to wait for about 10 minutes to validate my PERSONAL CASHIERS CHECK FROM PLYMOUTH MN WELLS FARGO ISSUED JUNE 2025 and then told me that since they have gotten busy I now have to wait till she is done with people who came after me. I closed the account I will never bank with Wells Fargo again due to this experience I am also putting this online publicly on Google, yelp and filing with the BBB I was treated like a criminal despite having banked with Wells Fargo since 2006 . And I feel it was discriminatory based on me having tattoos , she was rude , unprofessional and treated me like a criminal I have now been here an hour and still waiting for a check I paid for and is Wells Fargo’s . DO NOT BANK HERE THEY ACT OVERWHELMED BY ANY CUSTOMERS IN THIS PLACE

The situation was complicated but she was patient, heard the urgency of my needs, and exhausted all her resources to to ensure that we left with an excellent experience. She succeeded. Thank you.

It's refreshing to see a bank break away from the usual dull bank stereotype and actually be a place that feels alive.
