    SAFE CREDIT UNION HAS BETRAYED MY TRUST FOR THE FINAL TIME. THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE BEEN DOUBLE-CROSSED, COSTING ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. BOTH TIMES, I HAD GONE INTO THE 121 NORTH SUNRISE AVE, ROSEVILLE, CA 95661 BRANCH. FILLED OUT THE PAPERWORK THEY GAVE ME, AND IT WAS WRONG.

    They just shut down my Visa after making a simple $215 purchase at a large retailer without notifying me, I found out when next purchase was declined and created an EMBARRASSING UNNECESSARY SITUATION at a store. This is the second time in a year. No care, no apoloies, or courtesy from escalation team. Idea not implemented to simply send send a text informing the card has been shut down for security. I was assured would not happen again. Unbelievable. It is 2025. I have lost confidence.

    I have had two recent interactions with the customer service reps at Safe credit union. Both encounters were so informative, so helpful, and so eye-opening. Before, I have not had the patience dealing with call centers with various businesses and banks. The first time I called, I asked a lovely person for some advice on how to send money outside the state to a friend. Brooklynne walked me through the process. She told me that time was not an issue. And she made me feel very comfortable throughout the transaction. I could not have been happier! Then I found that the recipient did not receive the money. So I called in again to get an ETA and a follow up. LaToya was equally lovely and patient and kind! She helped me through the process, told me the name of the bank that the money went to and gave me so much information that I could then turn the entire process over to the recipient. However, before I hung up, I asked her what our fallout contingency was. Again, Latoya explained our options and gave me an idea of how to proceed. I am not a patient person! But thank goodness to the call center and customer service peoplle at safe, I was able to perform important tasks with their help. I can’t say enough about how great the service was that I received in both phone calls. In the this age where all you read is hypocritical nonsense about how horrible services is, it’s important to acknowledge and respect the people who are happily attempting to make an individual‘s life better. I love my bank! Thank you Safe for the wonderful training you put your personnel through.

    My grandson has a kid saver account and had an ATM card to deposit money. Suddenly the card would not work and I was told that they did not know why. They would reissue the card, we received the card in January with no explanation other than we would be receiving a separate pin. We thought the card was active and we just needed to use the new pin at the ATM. We went to the ATM over this past weekend and the machine said the card was not active. We went into the branch today and was told to call a number, the number stated you needed an expiration date on the card which kid saver cards does not have, we spoke to an agent in card services who said he couldn't help us we needed to call the call center. After 30 min on the phone. She initially couldn't even find the card, then proceeded to activate only to come back on the line and say the card is to old and they will need to issue another one. Oh by the way, if we wanted it expedited, that would cost $25 and after checking she couldn't waive the fee even for all of the inconvenience because she checked and instructions were sent on how to activate the card in January. In essence calling us a lier!!! This is terrible and its safe to say you may have lost a future customer in my grand son and certainly will not be getting the business of my other 7 grandchildren which are all under age and that I am teaching financial literacy to. I have always been a credit union champion however, this is not the SAFE that I had a positive exp. with years ago. This experience reminded me why I closed all of my accounts with you and will not be doing any future business.

    Safe is the last feeling I've experienced with Safe CU. I am very disappointed with their customer service - I've experienced more headache, stress & financial losses with Safe than any other bank - the management is irresponsible and their policies are terrible...
