- SKSiena KleinNov 16, 20212.0Stock investors are more important than bank customers. When I wanted to transfer a loan to my mortgage payment they said no, it won't be good for their investors. I have had a mortgage for 20 years with this bank and never a late payment. "World's Great Bank" is such a conceited motto. And their phone system is useless. Last time I called they said it would be a 58 minute wait.

Megan Davila made a very special effort to find me & call me to tell me about the piece of mail. After finding me she mailed it to my Oregon address. How many people do that? Nobody. I have always been impressed by the very personal service and attention to detail that these professional people have given to me over the 21 years that I have been with Umpqua. But the follow up and attention to me and my account is amazing. Umpqua Bank sets the standard for courtesy, attention to detail and professionalism.
