Janice Azsren is rude and seems to have a lack of care for African-American and Latino people. I visited the bank today to cash a check from a client who has been there many times without any issues. However, before I could even sit down, she asked, "Hey, what do you want?" I greeted her, saying, "Hi, how are you? I’m here to cash a check." As I was opening the envelope to give her the check, she abruptly stated, “Oh, we can’t cash it” before even looking at it. Then she said, “Oh yeah, it’s too much. We have to order it. It will be ready in two weeks.” I asked to speak with the manager, and she said, “Oh, I don’t think he’s available right now.” She went into the back and returned, saying, “Oh, he’s on a call. I don’t know when he’ll be off.” I replied, “Oh, I’ll wait patiently.” When the manager finally came out, he started off politely, but then he received a call from her, which disrupted the conversation. It’s frustrating that other banks in the city that serve African-American clients do not open accounts here. I sincerely hope that Janice Azsren will find some compassion. Malinda Fernando should consider hiring better staff.

A trusted friend told me about this bank - - Mom and I switched from Wells Fargo after decades, due to endless months/years of fraud issues happening to 2 accounts, even when closing and switching. So happy we did! And I agree with prior review of Sandra - she is amazingly kind and helpful, and makes us feel like friends! Glad we switched!

Worst banking service ever. They won't let you make a simple deposit without interrogating you. They never even asked for the account number. You don't need 2 forms of ID and a bunch of other BS just so to deposit $50 into an account. Weird. It comes across like they were told their job roles were to push customers away with illogical excuses. With the endless questions they kept asking, what else do you they want? A blood sample? None of their questions seemed relevant to simply make a $50 deposit. The only question they should've asked, which they never asked, was the account # the $50 is being deposited into. They never even took a moment to ask for the account #. Very strange.
